Day 01

On arrival transfer to Negombo.

Afternoon city tour of Negombo. Visit the Lagoon area and the Fish market.

Overnight stay at JETWING BLUE OCEANIC (3*) – Negombo (BB Basis)

After breakfast meet and discuss with the Diving Instructor / Guide, regarding the programme, and arrange all equipment / assistance and safety precautions necessary.

Afternoon training and acclimatizing dive at Negombo. Proceed by boat to "Ula Gala" a coral formation at Negombo and dive to a depth of 3 to 15 meters. See the corals, Fish etc. on the Rock formation here.

On completion return back to the hotel.

Overnight stay at JETWING BLUE OCEANIC (3*) – Negombo (BB Basis)

i) After breakfast, at 9.30 a.m. go by boat to a distance of 3 miles off Brown Beach Hotel at Kudapaduwa where there is a Ship-wreck over 40 years old. This wreck is about 75 meters in length. The depth is about 20 meters. Look for Corals, Groupers, Moray Eels and other dwellers of the ship. Return to the hotel.

ii) Afternoon proceed to Katuneriya (30 minutes by boat). At a distance of 5 miles, there is a twin engine Fighter / Bomber Aircraft of the Royal Air Force (British) crashed about 50 years ago. The depth is 18 meters only.

iii) There are two shipwrecks at Kepungoda ( Uswetakeiyawa) - 2 miles from the coast.

iv) There are several coral reefs, on rock formations between Marawila and Wennappuwa in which Lobsters, Groupers, Coral Fish, Sea Cucumber and other fish are found.

They are: -

i) "KATTA GALA" - 3 Miles from the Beach. Depth 15 to 20

ii) "KASA GAHA GALA" - 5 Miles away. Depth 18 to 25 meters.

iii) "SILITHAN KATHAYA" - 4 Miles - Depth 18 meters.

•  "MAHAKABARAI GALA" - 5 Miles - Depth 20 meters.

(Only 02 dives out of 04 will be given for the day)

Return to Hotel in the evening.

Overnight stay at JETWING BLUE OCEANIC (3*) – Negombo (BB Basis)

After breakfast leave for Galle . Check in at the Lighthouse Hotel and make arrangement for a diving trip in the afternoon.

i) Afternoon proceed to Kahawa by boat. The Sail Ship ‘ EARL OF SHAFTSBURY' is found at a depth of 25 metres. Dive to the Shipwreck.

ii) Two more shipwrecks are found at Kahawa at a depth of 30 meters.

iii) On the return trip stop at Hikkaduwa and dive to see a rare and beautiful Black Coral Garden at a depth of 35 meters, only to be seen and admired by deep divers.

At Hikkaduwa look for the beautiful Stag horn Corals (AEROPOREIDAE), Dome Corals

(PORITIDAE), Brain Corals (MUSSIDAE), Flower Corals (POCILLOPORIDAE), and many others of the 138 species of corals found in Sri Lanka . Look for the spectacular, and marvelously beautiful coral fish harboured in the Coral reef, including the Emperor, Imperial Angel, and The Moorish Idol. Surgeon, Lion, Porcupine, Parrot, Butterfly and Sweetlips.

(Only 02 dives out of 03 will be included).

Return to Hotel.

Overnight stay at JETWING LIGTHOUSE (A member of the small luxury hotels of the world) - Galle (BB Basis)

i) After breakfast proceed to Gintota by boat and dive 4 miles from the coast for a

Wreck at a depth of 25 to 30 meters.

ii) Then proceed to Galle Harbour area, and few yards of the rampart is the ship

‘S.S. Malabar” a P & O Mail Steamer sunk in 1860. Dive here and spend time going inside the ship to see Fish, Corals etc. or

•  Dive to ship-wreck “ Rangoon ” - 30 meters or

•  Dive to one of the ship-wrecks near Galle Harbour- “Ethopy” - 15 meters,”BARTHLIA

TELIA”, “HERCULES” – VOC ship – 1661. “AVONSTER” – A VOC ship – 1659

And “DOLFIJN” – 1663.

Then return to Hotel.

Afternoon visit Galle by car. See the Dutch Fort, Zwart Bastian ( Watergate );Akesloot Bastian ( overlooking the Harbour ) Triton, Neptune, Aeloes etc. Visit the Dutch Church . See lace making, Ebony Carving, etc.

On completion return to Hotel in the evening.

Overnight stay at JETWING LIGHTHOUSE (A member of the small luxury hotels of the world) - Galle (BB Basis)

Full day diving in Galle . Go for 1 dive in the morning and another in the afternoon.

Evening relax in the hotel.

Morning leave for Tangalle. On the way see the Dutch Fort at Matara, Weligama Kustarajagala Statue dating to 8 th C.A.D. and Dondra Buddhist Temple .

Check-in at the Palm Paradise Cabanas.

Afternoon go for dive to the coral reef to see beautiful coral, coral fish and if lucky few Turtles hiding among the corals. Return to hotel in the evening.

Overnight stay at TANGALLE BAY – Tangalle (BB Basis)

Spend the full day at Cabanas for diving.

Afternoon proceed to Tangalle Town and dive in front of the Rest House where there is a beautiful coral reef.

On completion return back to the hotel.

Overnight stay at TANGALLE BAY – Tangalle (BB Basis)

Full day relax on the beach.

Overnight stay at JETWING BLUE OCEANIC (3*) - Negombo (BB Basis)

After breakfast you may proceed to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
